A bit of everything else...

my goal in all my projects is to make it collaborative and deeply personal.

often this intimacy is something I try to emulate in the rehearsal room as I work with other artists.

I am constantly trying to learn methods in order to tell stories that move audiences. it is important to me to understand the technical side of storytelling. I believe that great art challenges our belief systems and makes us more open to the world around us. there is no better way to connect than through our honest selves. stories have the ability to connect us, and in the age of social media I believe this need for connection has become even more vital. 

The frustration of not being articulate while communicating emotions is universal. I can’t count the number of times where I had so much feeling living in me but being powerless to string the right words together. I value my desire for improvement immensely and never want to become complacent in my artistic progress stemming from darkness but living in levity. I would like to include the audience in my interpretation and hope to allow them to experience that same harmony

I believe that every story can create a feeling of catharsis for an audience.  I am working towards being a director that can do that for the productions that I work on in the future.
